October 2010 - New machinery added to plant list
BEC have invested in yet more CNC machinery. A Hurco CNC milling centre has been added to Unit 17, while an Axyz CNC Router (3 mtr x 1.5 mtr bed / automated tool change) now resides in Unit 16.
This continued investment increases the available capacity required in todays competitive marketplace.
August 2010 - BEC production staff now operating shifts
Due to the sharp increase in orders awarded to BEC, we have taken the step of operating shift patterns. This allows us to cope with the work we have won while maintaining the competitive lead times and speedy service our customers have come to expect.
